ABOUT
Hello! I am a MBACP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counselor with twelve years in training and (7 years) practice. Having conducted 4000+ clinical hours under on-going supervision, I aim to help clients develop and access fuller ways of responding to daily living.
I am an integrative psychotherapist who helps individuals explore their emotional landscape and uncover the unseen threads by connecting past experiences to present relationships. Guided by mindfulness, compassion, IFS, and trauma-informed approaches, I create a safe-haven for you to delve into your inner world and discover the gifts of personal transformation already within you. My role is to gently walk alongside you as you navigate healing and growth, drawing upon your inherent strengths and resilience to flourish into your most authentic self.
Almost a decade ago, while working as a Team Lead at a high-tech engineering company, I realized that my passion lay in deeply inquiring into the intricacies of what motivates and drives us; forces that shape our actions and the choices we make. A philosophical inquiry led to a functional and systemic understanding of how myself, and people around me, felt. Being aware of the limited access to mental health services and psychotherapy in Pakistan, I feel an overwhelming sense of responsibility and privilege to contribute to this field by providing compassionate and supportive care through the practice of psychotherapy.
In addition to individual psychotherapy, I am a group trainer and supervisor for counselors. Through collaborations with peers and assisting international sleep experts, I have helped individuals identify underlying causes of sleep disturbances, often linked to past trauma. By integrating Jungian principles into my practice, I provide a unique and comprehensive approach to addressing the hidden connections between, sleep, anxiety, dreams and traumatic experiences.
As a Supervisor, my passion lies in nurturing confident and compassionate therapists through collaborative supervision. In our partnership, we will unpack your unique clinical experiences, explore potential biases, and refine your therapeutic toolbox – all within a client-centered, IFS- and Hawkin’s 7 Eyes-informed framework. My aim is to empower you to develop strong clinical skills, navigate ethical challenges with grace, and cultivate a deeper understanding of both yourself and your clients.
I remain abreast of new developments in the mental health field. Additionally, I regularly attend relevant courses, seminars, and conferences throughout the year. Furthermore, I have regular Supervision.
Things that are closest to my heart are nature, working out, and spending time with my family.
You can find me here if you are interested to know more about my professional experience or my approach.
